ABSORBED IN THOUGHT...

Tuesday, 22 January 2013

Maybe it's the weather...maybe it's the month or maybe it's just me...
I am absorbed in thought...maybe something wonderfully creative
will come from my thoughts...

I always feel I should be doing better...maybe I should heed these words...

I have many friends from the Baby Boomer generation who are also absorbed in thought....what great things might happen from all of this.

I think it might be the weather?
I find when my routine is changed or when my wings are clipped - (we live on a country lane and so couldn't drive anywhere all weekend) I have plenty of time to think about what I should or could be doing.
The snow looks pretty but I'm so pleased it's on it's way out now.
Hope you have a lovely day,
Liz x

I find that the most difficult time to meditate, but the most important time to do it.
Certainly something creative will come out of the web you are weaving with your thoughts. Something beautiful.

Could it be the season, the weather, the chill, the clouds? I'm feeling rather pensive these days myself but Maya Angelou's words are always so comforting. Here's to hoping the creativity brings us some brightness and peace. Have a great week Catherine! xo

Hmm. You have me curious Catherine. Deep thinking and contemplation seems to be a theme here lately. It makes me wonder what's on your mind...
I also love Maya Angelou's quote and find it comforting and actually very forgiving. I'm finally getting there, making peace with my critical voice and learning to do my best. And then learning to let it go. Although 'the letting go' part of life is what I'm still working on.
Sending you my warmest thoughts,
Leslie (aka Gwen Moss)
