Amidst the troubled times we are having in London,
and other major cities including, Birmingham, Bristol,
Nottingham, Liverpool and Leeds...please don't forget
that London is a truly great city and these dreadful scenes
over the last few days will be controlled, people will and are
being arrested...and the residents are pitching in to
help clean up the streets following the riots.
Sadly, it is the long-standing businesses that have been
destroyed and will possibly not be able to
re-establish themselves that my heart goes out to.
On a more positive note...
a group of friends who love fashion and are also qualified
tourist guides have conceived a guided walk of fashion.
Vogue Headquarters
One of the tour guides said:
"We saw a gap in the market and devised a
guided walk that is stylish, fun and entertaining.
It provides a little bit of history, but also gives
up to the minute information on current
fashion trends and those involved in the business."
The Dedicated Follower of Fashion Walk
also visits the studio that belonged to the Queen's
dressmaker and stops off at Vogue's Headquarters
in Hanover Square.
